To create Préhos, our team accompanied paramedics in the field for more than 700 hours and we continue to work with them on a regular basis to this day.

From an idea to a reality.
After noticing a gap in the market, the founders conceptualized the first draft of Préhos. Thanks to the help of our partner, Dessercom, and an in-depth analysis of the needs of paramedics in intervention, Préhos was finally born.
Confident that they have found a solution to some of the obvious problems faced by paramedical staff, Préhos is embarking on the development of a digital patient management and electronic health record (EHR) solution.
It was in 2015 that Prehos launched the first prototype in the field.
After a year of intensive testing and development efforts, Préhos is finally on the market!
Since its launch, Préhos has been listening to its customers and is constantly adapting to the needs of community paramedics in collaboration with the Renfrew County Paramedic Service in Ontario.
In particular, Préhos has developed intelligent dispatch and fleet management functions with the help of Dessercom.
In 2019, Préhos receives important financing that allows it to accelerate its growth.
Dessercom invests $1.7 million in Préhos and becomes a minority shareholder. Also, Investissement Québec provides Préhos with $144,000 in financial support to accelerate its international deployment.
Prehos raised a $7.2 million Series A financing round. The effort was coordinated by Investissement Québec, on behalf of the Government of Québec, Desjardins Capital, Centre Desjardins Entreprises Lévis-Lotbinière-Bellechasse, as well as Dessercom, Services Prehospitaliers Laurentides-Lanaudière and private investors. The funds will be primarily used to further develop and deploy our technologies. The new employees that will be hired are expected to be in place by the end of 2022.
