Tech and Innovation Leader

We are seeking a Tech and Innovation Leader to guide our R&D teams in creating cutting-edge software and infrastructure. This role combines thought leadership in technical development with hands-on application in software projects. • Technical Leadership (40% of your time)
• Act as a technical reference to guide R&D teams in SaaS and mobile projects.
• Participate in product design, including architecture and UX/UI development.
• Provide input on cloud infrastructure decisions for technical solutions.
• Identify key risks and uncertainties in technical projects.
• Write and review technical aspects of user stories.
• Conduct DevOps operations utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Argo CD.
• Operationalize production environments, ensuring observability, incident management, and effective communication.
• Perform field tests of software products in real-life scenarios, such as ambulance environments.
• Provide guidance and on-call emergency support for clients using our products.
• Hands-on Software Development (60% of your time)
• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and testing of software applications.
• Implement core software development principles, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID, and Clean Architecture concepts.
• Develop and maintain relational and non-relational database structures, including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Utilize Reactive Programming (Rx) and manage unit, interface, and integrated test development.

• Expertise in .NET Core, Angular TypeScript, and DevOps technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Advanced knowledge of tools like Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Familiarity with creating aesthetic and user-focused designs (UX/UI).
• Proven ability to develop tests for various levels of software validation.
• Fluency in both English and French is an asset.
